On 18th Nov, 2014, the largest and highest-resolution LED advertising display on the world was officially opened at 1535 Broadway, Times Square in New York. The LED screen is of width between 45th Street to 46th Street, and height of about eight stores, its size is almost equivalent to a football field.
This high resolution outdoor LED display screen is of 24 million pixels, exceeding the most advanced TV. Each pixel can emit RGB color. The LED display is connected with a high-resolution camera, which can be used to shoot people and live broadcast, also can be used to interact with pedestrians.
As the “New York Times”reported, this giant LED advertising screen offers price of around $ 2.5 million for each 4 weeks, and rumors that Google will lease this display till the end of the year.
